Hindi Diwas Celebration
Poetical Recitation event was organized to celebrate Hindi Diwas with the collaboration of Shitya Dhara of department of Hindi. Students participated in this event with great enthusiasm. Sixty students participated of B.A. and B.Ed. The event showcased the rich tapestry of Hindi literature through the heartfelt renditions of classic and contemporary poems. Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar appreciated the students for their participation.
Teacher Days Celebration
A Slogan writing Competition was organised by the Department of the college to celebrate Teacher Day. The competition aimed to foster the art of concise and impactful communication through slogans. Students were challenged to craft slogans that addressed various social, environmental and topical issues. The event not only provided a platform for self-expression but also encouraged critical thinking and awareness of pressing issues. Approximately 20 students enthusiastically participated. The participants left no stone unturned in their pursuit of crafting memorable slogans. Their slogans covered a wide range of topics.
Blackboard Writing Competition
A discussion was organized by the department on the topic 'Lesson Planning and Teaching Skills' on 29th September 2023. The objective of this session was to make the students ideal teachers by giving them knowledge about lesson planning and various teaching skills. The students acquired knowledge how to prepare a lesson plan and use of various teaching skills. This session was informative for the students.
Workshop
A workshop was organized by the department on 4th October 2023. The theme of this workshop was ‘Use of Psychological tests in teaching learning process. Students learned how these tests can be used for the students in the classroom and make the teaching-learning more effective. Teacher can use these tests to monitor the progress of students and make any necessary adjustments.
Game-based learning is one teaching technique that is becoming popular for helping students reach their learning goals. Game-based learning refers to a method of teaching in which students participate in various activities to study a specific subject. To engage students in academic learning experiences Game based learning approach was used in the classroom. Students gained information through game-based learning.
Lecture on Mental Health Day
A lecture was organized on Mental Heath day on 10th October 2023. The main objective of this session was to aware the students about mental health issues. Mrs. Ramanjit Talwar discussed the symptoms, causes and prevention of mental disorders. The session ended with question -answer session. it was very informative session.
Swachhta Pakhwada 3.0 Compaign
An initiative was taken by the B.A. B.Ed. department under the Champaign "Swachhta Pakhwada 3.0" as per the direction of Government of India on 11th October 2023. One hour cleanliness drive was organised in one of the surrounding schools with the help of college students which contributed towards the goals of Swachh Bharat.
Poster Making Competition
Poster making competition was organized on 26th October 2023 under the compaingn Swachhata Pakhwada 3.0. Theme of this competition was Swachh Bharat Mission. Students prepared beautiful charts. Principal Dr. Pooja Prashar praised the students for their enthusiastic participation.
A lecture was organized by the department on the topic “Various Teaching Approaches”. The objective of this activity was to give the knowledge about the teaching methods used during teaching. It is also essential for teachers to have knowledge about various teaching methods to make teaching more interesting and creative.
WORKSHOP
A Workshop was organized on the theme “Role of Emotional Intelligence in daily life” on 27th February 2024. The aim of this workshop was to give knowledge to the students about the role of emotional intelligence in our lives. The workshop helped students develop emotional insight, identify the impact of their emotional intelligence on connecting with others and practice maintaining empathy.
